Insanity is really more of a cardio based program, but there is enough strength training involved that it will build muscle.  It is different than P90X for sure.  If you have P90X+, it is comparable to that program, particularly the Intervals Plus DVD.  No matter what you are doing, your heart is pounding!

I&#039;m noticing that my legs are getting stronger from all the plyo type moves.  The guys in the test group did gain muscle, but they probably lost more fat than they gained in muscle.  P90X is really more of a strength based program than Insanity.</description>
