Focus T25 Review

It’s here! Focus T25 is the latest workout from Shaun T, the creator of Hip Hop Abs, Insanity, and The Asylum series. We are used to getting punished by Shaun, but this one is different. I’ve spent some time getting to know this workout and I wanted to share my Focus T25 review with you.

Focus T25 Workout

First, the entire Focus T25 workout is only 25 minutes long. I don’t mean the first couple of weeks are 25 minutes…I mean ALL of the workouts are 25 minutes long (with an optional 2 minute cool down/stretch at the end). This is pretty awesome. As soon as you start to feel like, “Whoa, this sucks!,” you only have about eight minutes left. That makes me push hard for that last bit.

Second, there is a modifier. You may remember Tania from Insanity (think Fit Test). She’s the modifier in Focus T25 and opens this workout up to everyone. Seriously, my mom could do this workout. Just stay on the ground and follow Tania.

Third, the variety is awesome. This isn’t a bunch of similar workouts. The only thing that’s the same is that they are all 25 minutes. Every workout focuses on something different. So, you really hit it hard during the 25 minutes, then work on something different the next day.

Fourth, very minimal equipment is needed. In the Alpha phase, you just need a mat or soft surface for the ab and ground work. In Beta, you’ll add Upper Focus and you’ll need some dumbbells or bands. THAT’S IT.  You, some shoes, clothes (optional), and the floor!

So, what’s in the box?

There are three phases: 1) Alpha, 2) Beta, and 3) Gamma. Alpha and Beta are 10 weeks long—and you get them in the base pack. Gamma adds an additional four weeks and is sold separately. Don’t worry about that for now…just get Alpha and Beta and get to work.

The Base Pack costs $119.85 and the Challenge Pack is $205. Beachbody runs challenge pack specials every month – you can see the main one on the top of our website and you can always message us to find out about other sales.

The Insane Ward

The Insane Ward grew out of our @insane_report Twitter account. We wanted to take it to the next level and Facebook was a better platform for diving in a little deeper into each others lives and supporting each other better. We’ve found that the tighter a community becomes, the more people succeed.

Since Facebook is a little different than Twitter, we are going to have a few different ground rules. If you are already a Beachbody Coach, we are going to ask that you stick with the Twitter feed. We have handpicked a few Beachbody Coaches to provide support in the Insane Ward and we are going to keep it at that. Click below to request to join the group:

The Insanity Report and the Insane Ward are really going to help you! You’ll get to tap into our knowledge base and find out how to fuel your body for optimal results.
