Insanity in the News...Deal or Dud? | by Dave Ward of TheFitClubNetwork.com

Insanity in the News Is it a Deal or a Dud?

Insanity in the news! Fox News in Dallas/Fort Worth recently reviewed Insanity, Shaun T’s ultra intense cardio workout program.

Insanity is touted as the hardest workout ever put out on DVD and to get you in the best shape of your life in just 60 days. I’ve done it way more than once and I wholeheartedly agree. Shaun T uses a combo of Max Interval Training and total-body conditioning that is seriously intense. You’ll be digging deeper than you ever have before…and, you’ll get ripped in the process.

Here is a video with the piece from the news station:

A few thoughts about the video…

First, Insanity is designed to be VERY intense. In no way is it a starter program—or something that people should take lightly. I do know people that continue doing Insanity well after their 60 day session is over. Most people finish the program and then use the workouts in conjunction with other programs, like P90X.

Second, good nutrition is crucial. If you follow 100% of the Insanity Elite Nutrition Guide, you’ll get the best results. However, that is not the only way to get results. We recommend that people follow the 80/20 rule, which basically means that 80% of the foods you take in are good quality whole foods (no processed crud, no refined sugars, and no alcohol) and 20% of your nutrition can be more relaxed. That lets you live your life. Here are my Healthy Eating Tips, which includes info on the 80/20 Rule.

You’ll end up doing a lot better with Insanityif you work with a Coach who has done it before and knows the program – both the fitness and nutrition aspects – really well. I definitely fall into that category…check out my Insanity Workout Tips Video Series, then click on the button below to learn more about our FREE coaching program.
