View Full Version : Help... looking for guidelines on what I should be eating!

I was wondering if anyone had a breakdown of what you should be eating (protein, fruit, veggies, etc) and the portion size each day. I don't really want specific foods, just by categories they fall in. I started P90X about 2 weeks ago and am into the workouts, but need a basic guideline (breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner) to follow. This is my real weak spot and want to do it right. The info from P90X just confuses me. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi Bob, congratulations on doing P90X. I have something that might help you. If you email me at amichalovich@live.com I can send you an easy guide that was made for people like us, who need extra help with our diet. Tony says it's 80% nutrition and 20% fitness. It is the same guide from P90X but simplified. Its an excel spreadsheet that will allow you to find exactly how many calories you need each day.

Insanity also has a really good guide and I can try and find that one to send you too. For Insanity the meal plans are already made for you, and then you can choose which ones you want to eat. You should be eating 5 times a day.

Hi Angela. I was wondering if you still had the guide you were referring to? I am planning on starting p90x as soon as possible but would like to work out the nutrition and guidelines before I start the program to get an idea of what I should be eating.
