Greetings from Colorado Springs. My name is David and I have a wonderful wife and two great kids. I’ve owned P90X for three years but I’ve never committed to the full 90 days. I’m a runner and have multiple marathons under my belt. I just wasn’t willing to give up trail for being stuck inside for 90 days. So I incorporated the strength work outs and Ab Riper X with running. However, I never implemented the nutrition plan. Fast forward three years; nothing has changed except bone spurs are altering my running routine and I’ve actually gained weight.
I’m done doing the same thing with limited results. I’ve committed to the full 90 days, including Yoga X, which I hate! I think I’d choose a 20 mile training run over Yoga X. In addition, I’m convinced the nutrition piece is key for me. I was so frustrated with the nutrition guide, I went to Google for help and found Dave and Monica. The spreadsheet, shopping list and video showing some practical application sold me on The Fit Club Network.
I’m into my second week, down 5lbs and struggling a bit to get enough calories. I’ll keep tweaking the nutrition plan until I get it figured out.
I’ve learned over the years that there are two kinds of pain in life. The pain of regret or the pain of discipline. We get to choose the pain.
Blessings and good luck to you all.
