Hi! I have been doing the P90x program for 1 week now and already I am having great results. My problem is the nutrition plan...I have cut my carbs way back, but getting enough protein is a dilemma.

I have an egg intolerance, so that cuts them out of the picture. So I invested in a good whey protein isolate powder. I have been taking that 2x day, but since I started, I noticed that I am having my egg intolerance symptoms...I think I have an intolerance to the whey protein as well! Not fun, believe me.

Any suggestions on ways to get 5 servings of protien without a ton of calories? I am not a big meat/fish eater. Any ideas would be helpful! Does yogurt and milk contain whey protein?

The p90x nutrition plan recommends 5 servings of protein, but just curious how many grams that works out to...anybody know? Trying to keep away from those carbs, but I'm getting hungry!

Hello and WELCOME. Start by going to the Nutrition Guide Post: http://www.thefitclubnetwork.com/2009/01/p90x-nutrition-plan-made-easy/ and downloading the Word document for the phase you are in. They will tell you the size of each serving. For example, 3oz of chicken is one serving and 100 calories. Use that as your shopping list. You can find a lot of other protein choices there.

Soy protein powder is another option to whey. I don't recommend soy first, but it is a good option for people with dairy issues. Give that a shot. It will help you get the calories you need.

Let us know if you have other questions.
