Hello there! I did the Insanity programin the fall of 2010 and now I am doing the P90X lean program. I am starting week 3 and have not seen much in the way of results. I am 5'3" and started at 139 pounds and am down to 137, but my body fat percentage has only went down 0.2% and my measurements have not really changed. The program says I should eat 2268 calories and then I subtracted 500 out for weight loss initially, but I have actually been eating more like 1400 calories a day. I am at the 50% protein, 30% carbs, 20% fat level with these calories. Am I expecting too much out of myself after only 2 weeks in? My husband is on round 2 of the regular P90X program and says some of the workouts he does that are not in the lean program (at least not until month 3) given "lean" options as well. Do you think I should try switching to the traditional program? Any thoughts you can give would be appreciated. Thank you!

I forgot to mention that I have a heart rate monitor. For Core Synergistics, I burn roughly 775 calories. Does that sound right? It's my first time owning a HRM with a chest strap. For Cardio X, I burn 475, Arms & Shoulders + Ab ripper = 600, Yoga X = 489, Legs & Back + Ab ripper = 800, and Kenpo X = 775.

Hey there - I responded to your email just a short while ago. Make sure your heart rate monitor is calibrated properly. That does sound like a high burn for Core Syn.

I have calibrated it with my age, gender, and weight. Do you know of a good website where I can use average heartrate (or some other method) to determine how many calories I am burning? Thank you for your help.
