Hello Everyone,
My name is Mark, and I am glad to be here! I just ordered P90X a few days ago and have yet to receive it, but am really looking forward to getting it! My reason for wanting to do P90X besides the obvious is because I want to really tone up and get some definition as well as some killer abs! I am 5'10 and 190lbs and would like to get down to 175lbs and hope to lose a couple inches around the waist at the same time. I am really determined to reach my goals and I look forward to learning a lot from everyone on this forum.

Mark:
Welcome and sounds like we are similar. I'm 5' 10" but a little heavier at 200 but have been doing p90X now for a little over 3 weeks and loving it. I am having so much fun I even decided to become a coach and start introducing Beachbody to others.
Look forward to connecting with you and get ready to "Bring It"!
P90X is kick butt!

Hey Mark!
Welcome A Board!
You should be able to get your results with the P90X program for sure! I am currently using Chalean Extreme to prepare me for P90X (does anything REALLY prepare you though? lol) i finish chalean next week, then working the brazil butt lift program to really torque the back-end and then i Start the X in march.. yikes! lol!
Can't wait to follow your progress! You came to an awesome place!

Hi Tara,
I am sure I will see some great results and can't wait. I'm on the road now and my dvd's arrived the other day so I am really looking forward to start using them and see what I got myself into! The day I bought P90X I made the decision that I was ready to not just start working out, but make good nutrition and exercise a lifestyle. I have never really enjoyed going to gyms and fortunately never needed to diet, so I didn't. I am ready now, and looking forward to the challenge of it all and looking forward to a healthier me. I already started adjusting my nutrition, and I have been working out everyday, albeit not anything like I am in for! I have already learned a lot from reading the threads on this forum, and can tell that I have found the right place to not only learn from, but also stay motivated when those moments of weakness present themselves.
Thanks for the kind words and I will definitely keep you posted on my results!
Mark

Hi Mark! Welcome to the boards!
If you keep pushing play every day, whether you feel like it or not, you will make it a lifestyle. There will still be some days when you just don't feel like it, but I have found that if I don't even go down that path, but just get dressed and do it, I feel much better for it. It's so easy to talk ourselves out of the workout, so just don't even engage in the conversation!
I start my 5th week of P90X tomorrow! Can't wait to see what is waiting for me for this month!
Looking forward to getting to know you! :)

In my younger years i was fortunate to have a fast metabolism and i was allowed to eat ANYTHING in ANY QUANTITY i wanted.. now i have to count calories and substance! lol.
I, like you, dislike gyms.. i don't like the atmosphere, i don't like the "germs" because people don't respect others and wipe equipment down when finished.. they just gross me out.. The perfect solution is Beachbody!!! I am SO grateful for them, infomercials, twitter and Dave and Monica and EVERYONE in the beachbody community and on these boards for inspiration, support, and friendship.. I love everyone I've come in to contact with so far!!
Sorry it took so long to reply.. it's been a busy week! :o
Hope you are well!
Tara
