My name is Mike I have always been blessed/cursed with a super fast metabolism and skinny genes so my goal is to put on a little mass. I am currently 5'11" 130 lbs, and would like to be more around 150. I started p90x with a roommate a few years back but only made it through phase 2 and wasn't doing the whole diet portion of it.

Our company recently added a gym that opens for employee use tomorrow and the owner and myself are starting p90x. After I raved about how much I loved doing it he just couldn't pass up the opportunity to do it again with a buddy (I tried myself a few times and never got going).

I am really going to focus on the nutrition aspect this time as really it will probably make me eat much more than I currently do eat and hopefully that will help me gain a little this time :)

If anyone has any tips for gaining weight etc please let me know.

Hey Mike - Welcome to the Boards! Your friends/workout partners are welcome as well. If you find you want/need a place to report your accountability, you can check out the Get Fit With Monica and Dave thread we just started in the Fitness Forum, or you guys can feel free to create your own. I'm totally cool with that if it helps you reach your goals.

Welcome A Board!
My Fiancè will be glad to read this.. He's the SAME WEIGHT AND HEIGHT as you and his metabolism is screaming fast.. He doesn't have the discipline to eat according to the guide or do the workout (he tried but he needs someone to be there every single day to push play and push him through the workouts. when we get married that person will be me!)
So please let me know what works for you, if anything, because i need to help him! I'm so happy there is another person out there with the same problem!
Do you have a blog or anything that you are using to document your progress?
