Hi Everyone,

My name is Nicole and I am 33 yr old mom of two. I started my weight loss journey back in May 2009 after being unhappy with my weight for years. I started slow by just making changes to my diet (cutting out sugar, super processed stuff and junk in general). I then added a daily yoga routine along with some cardio.

A friend of mine was doing P90X at the time and began telling me about it but I wouldn't try it. I didn't feel I was up to push ups or pull ups and I was totally intimidated by it but we kept each other motivated. By September I had lost approx 30lbs (to date I have lost 43lbs) and felt the need to step things up. I also hit a rough patch in life and almost my mental rock bottom and needed something to focus on so I took the plunge and started P90X!

I was instantly addicted to it and couldn't wait to get home each day to do my workouts. I felt a new kind of mental clarity and for the first time in my life I started to put my needs first. I knew that I needed to get myself into shape so I could keep up with my children and find happiness within myself. Unfortunately about 30 days in I re-injured my back at work (I have two herniated discs - L4/L5) and had to stop.

In January I was finally healed enough to get back to business with P90X so I started again from Day 1 and just finished week 1 of Phase II and I feel amazing!

On top of getting myself in shape I have motivated a group of family and friends to give P90X a shot and believe it or not they are now turning to me for guidance. Weird how things turn out cause a year ago I would have never believed it if someone told me I would be helping others get into shape.

I also recently became active on Twitter and found a great group of people there who help to keep my motivated, have taught me so much about nutrition and are the best support a girl could ask for! I thank all of you for telling me about Fit Club Network and I thank Fit Club Network for giving us all of this valuable information! You guys are awesome!

Hey guys,

I have a customer who is ready to order P90X. He is an army veteran who was injured in Iraq and was paralyzed for 6 months following nerve damage. He has been given medical clearance to begin working out again and he wants to lose 100 lbs over the next year. While paralyzed and during his rehabilitation he gained lots of weight. He would like to get back down to his army weight of 195-210. He currently weighs 320 lbs and he is 6'. He has no other medical conditions that limit him. He has no lingering effects of his paralysis. He recovered all functioning! Not only does he hope to lose 100 lbs over the next year, he would also love it if he could lose 50 lbs by July. I told him that I would find out what a reasonable expectation could be regarding weight loss in these two time frames. Can anyone provide me with an answer? Again he is 6' and weighs 320 lbs. He is willing to change his diet and he is ready to begin working out rigorously, hopefully with P90X. As soon as I provide him with an answer, he will be ready to move forward with his fitness.

Thanks,
Shannon
