I'm set to go out of town for a couple of days and I can't take P90X with me. I'm sure it isn't a big deal, but if I skip a couple of days and go back to where I left off when I get back it shouldn't be a problem, right? I'm sure it isn't, but it's free to ask so why not ask?

No it's not a big deal, just do your best to stick to proper nutrition and keep hydrated.

Keep in mind that you won't be burning the same amount of calories every day, so you'll need less food. It is highly likely that you'll be hungry. Your body doesn't know that you are taking time off from working out, so it may be looking for more food than you require. Just keep that in mind and see if you can find some other exercise to do.

I know I also read in Tony's P90X newsletter (at some point) to keep in mind that we all have lives outside of the P90X schedule, and at times this will interfere with our workout schedule. The important thing to remember is that a few days off won't deteriorate your results, however if you take a week or two off, it's like asking your body to start all over again.

Thanx everyone for the heads up. Dave, I'm currently at level 2, phase 1. If I have to cut back what I eat is there an amount you recommened? What should I eat and what shouldn't I eat? Thanx.

I wouldns skip too many days.

The more time you take off, the longer it will take to get back on track.
