I am on week 5 of P90X and have done a pretty good job sticking to the diet. One thing I have really taken to extreme is cutting out fats - and started this well before P90X. Unfortunately, I may have taken it too extreme.
I had some bloodwork recently done for a physical, and my cholesterol is too low! Not your usual problem. My Dr. told me to add more fat to my diet, but she clearly doesn't understand P90X. I have decided to start eating more fish, and maybe supplement with an Omega-3 tablet. Anybody have any suggestions on which type of supplement to get, or maybe any other ideas for healthy good fats that will bring my cholesterol back up to a healthy level. I will eat just about anything.

Omega 3 capsules are a great addition to your diet, benefits include healthier heart, lower cholesterol
and sustained energy.
You can also find healthy fats (mono-saturated and Poly saturated) in Avocados. Very high in healthy fats which are extremely important for the body. Tony eats around 4-6 avocados a week.
Fish can be another good addition.

Check out Udo's Oil - it has the proper ratio for Omega 3/6/9. It tastes pretty good too!
Also think of nuts. Nuts are not only a good source for the right fats, they offer many nutrients we need.

Oils (extra virgin olive oil, peanut oil, canola oil, flax seed oil, etc.), walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, macadamia nuts, peanut butter, almond butter, dark chocolate (60% or more cacao), avocados, black olives, green olives, olive tapenade, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, cashews... hmm...I could probably come up with more, but you get the gist.
Mr. Hoyt is going Primal on us now, so I believe he's got his fats all sorted out! Good luck with it David. I can't tell you how much better I feel. Monica is starting now, but she gets to really cut her carbs where I still have to get them in to play Triathlon Boy for another 10 days. After that it is on.

I can really feel how my food intake is affecting my energy now. Yesterday, I went to about 40/40/20 on my macros, with only about 100g carbs (fruits & veggies of course), and I was dragging a bit this morning. I think I am going to keep carbs between 125-150g while doing P90X, or any other Beachbody training regimen. P90X+ is next, and then quite likely Insanity. I don't see myself being able to go below that ever. I am feel great though, and have busted through a fat loss plateau since going Primal. It's definitely the easiest eating method I know of.
