Hello, my name is Jessica Frampton and I am a 25 year old wife and mother of twin boys and a 5 year old girl. My kids are now in school full time so I have some me time. I have maintained my health by running but have not seen any real progress as far as toning and losing some rear end goes in years. I am sure my body needs some change. I am two days into P90x classic and am not going to be able to run tomorrow for sure!
I look forward to both giving and receiving support and advice on this site:)

Hi Jessica! I think it's awesome that you have taken the steps to achieve your goals! The best advice I can give and it may be a generic one is... just keep pushing play! No matter how many times you have to pause the DVD's...just keep pushing play. You will soon realize that over time...the "pause" button will become less and less "worn out" :-). P90X is excellent for obtaining the goals you instated in trying to achieve along with following the Nutrition Plan as that is essential in the process. I too have a 5 year old (3 kiddos as well) and that can be a workout in itself :-). Everyone needs a little "me time". I think it's great that you are using that time to accomplish your goals! Keep it up and stay encouraged! And if you can't run tomorrow; just walk really fast (you see, there's always an alternative to everything. LOL!)! Best of Luck!

Welcome to the boards, Jessica!
I was "just" a runner too, until I decided to use P90X for cross-training! Prepare to fast-track those leg and glute muscles! :D

No doubt. P90X is great. I've used it to cross train for triathlon for a couple of years now. It is super versatile.

Dave - I heard there's a video on BNN mostly about you doing that! That's fantastic!

Yes. The Beachbody Network News followed me around at the San Diego International Triathlon last year. The story is here: http://www.thefitclubnetwork.com/resources/triathlon/
