Hi Everyone,

I was searching around for Whey Protein and found this at a local store. What do you think? The goal is to lose weight, I am in Group II, Phase 1. I am starting P90x on Monday.

I am not sure, but that seems really low for carbs. I use BSN Syntha-6, and it is always in the top 2-3 whey proteins sold. Really good stuff. Anyway, it has 23g protein / 13g carbs per serving. Gives you a little more balance. Your stuff is probably good too though. I am not exactly the most educated person when it comes to whey.

The total carbs is really based on what your diet is for your total nutrition plan. There is no "correct" ratio to have with a protein powder. I like a low (or even better NO carb) protein powder because I am shooting for a low carb diet but also it will allow you to add items (fruit?) to your drink if you need to and not worry about having too many carbs.

Here this might also help if you have not read it already. (I asked the same question(s) before)
