Does anyone know just exactly how all the ingredients are turned into a powder form? I tried finding verbiage and could not. Been asked a few times about it and I would rather have a BB response.

Thanks in advance

Jim

Yeah I already have . . . with the number of posts/requests/questions the response time can be long. Just hoping for a quick answer :)

There are videos of Isabelle Daikeler's speech about Shakeology online. I'll admit that I haven't watched them, but perhaps she talks about how the ingredients are turned into powder. I'll see if I can find some links for you.

Now this is true teamwork! Thanks Stacey! I am hoping that she will provide answers to this at Summit. Maybe we can find out and let you know then Jim.

Does anyone use the fiber boost?

Wow . . . after drinking Shakeology for 2 weeks I don't think I need any more fiber!

They freeze dry all the ingredients separately and then crush them into a powder before mixing them. Freeze drying them is the only way for the ingredients to maintain their nutritional benefits.

Thanks! Where did you find that info?

I watched a video somewhere in the back office where Darin Olean (spelling?) was talking about sustainability of his sources of products and how they have the products freeze dried. It makes sense too. It's the only way to make the ingredients into a powder and for them to maintain their nutritional benefits.

Check that....the products could be dipped into liquid nitrogen and then crushed into a powder as well. I don't know what method they are using of the freeze drying process.

That is great information! Thanks for sharing that with us. Now that you mention it though, it really does make sense that freeze drying them is the only way they can do it.
