I find that, especially recently, I will be at my calorie limit for the day, but then I'll get really hungry, hungry enough where snacks won't do anything. Should I eat in this case, even though I've had my amount of calories for the day? I've been trying to eat alkaline-rich foods recently and trying to avoid acidic foods, so is it possible that my metabolism is just increasing?
Thanks in advance.

It is quite possible your metabolism is increasing. Overtime you will have to increase your total calories in order to function properly. Personally I cant go more than 3 hours without eating due to a pretty high metabolism. So you might want to experiment with your total calorie intake and try increasing it and seeing how the body feels and reacts.
Good Luck!

If you are trying to lose body fat and you've hit your calories for the day...then don't eat if you're hungry. Keep your protein high and it will help tremendously with hunger. I have a great study on eating higher protein and eating few meals and its positive effects on satiety and hunger hormones. What's your email and I'll email it to you?

that's a tough one.. I usually drink 1 glass of water.. The thing is I heat around 7ish and I don't eat after that.. The problem is come around 9 or 10 my tummy begins to growl so I drink water and sleep it off. On Tues, my mom came from Switzerland and brought me these Sausages. Guess what I did? I nuked 1 and put it in a whole wheat bread and made a hot dog out of it.. I know I'm bad.. Usually I just do water..
