View Full Version : Just ordered p90x

Hello I am new around here. I just ordered my P90x and can't wait to get started. Is there away to download the nutrition plan so I can start that before it arrives.

Anyway I heard there are three levels or programs to pick from. What one should I use? I am 6' 10"and 200 lbs. My body far percentage is about 28%. I want to build mass, but I would like to get down to 10% body fat. Should I use classic, double, or lean?

By the way my name is Walt, married, 2 baby boys, and I am 29. Excited I found your forums, a lot of information.

Finished week two, day three. Wow.....did anyone see where that Mack truck went... I am consistantly falling short on calorie intake. Getting like 170g of protein though. I need it. My neighbor down the street thought. I was going to kill him because of a threat he made in passing in the heat of the moment....long story...the point....he is giving me a bunch of dumb bells for free. AWESOME! Getting them Friday.

What are good snacks to increase calories, and how many calories should I eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? I an eating all foods with barely any sugar or fat, and can't seem to get my calories. Can I eat spaghetti with sauce and garlic bread, and other things like that?

Walt,

There are a lot of good tips and ideas in the P90X nutrition guide for all that. If you look at how the menus are structured you'll see meals are around 400 calories (at level I) and snacks are 100 or 200 calories. What you can eat depends on what phase you're in, although if you wanted spaghetti in phase I you could just make that your carb for the day, for example. Generally speaking you can eat anything you like as long as you follow the nutrition guide, but that's not very specific, of course. If you need more specific advice I think we need to know a little more about how you eat and what calorie level you're at.
