last time was interrupted by real life...

This time, I am sticking with it.

My name is Paul and I'm from Delaware. I'm about 5-10 and because of no exercise over 9 months, and being married to an italian woman who's mom loves to cook, I've managed to balloon up to 205...which wouldn't be bad if I was at 8% body fat :) But I had a picture taken with my 11 month old daughter and it looked like a blimp was for lunch. Enough of that.

I've completed 2 days of the classic...I'm not going to lie, the first day I only did half the chest and back routine (1 circuit...stopped before the 2nd go round)...and did 3 minutes of ab ripper...body said no mas.

Today I did plyo, and I did about 80% of the stuff...I sweat my ass off, i was out of breath, and my legs felt like jelly...I'm sure my form wasn't good.

I know the first 2-3 weeks are going to be hard...very hard. The biggest hurdle I've seen is about nutrition. I just can't seem to eat enough, nor can I get a full grasp of the P90x nutrition plan. I'm eating right, but there's a lot of things that I just don't like...such as cottage cheese, and tomatoes.

Any help in regards to the nutrition aspect is definitely appreciated.

Welcome! Totally understand life getting in the way of a fitness journey. But applause to you for starting again. Yes, the first 2-3 weeks are heck, but get through them and you'll do fine. Just keep moving, drink a ton of water, and visit these boards often for support. As for nutrition, check out the main FCN website, www.thefitclubnetwork.com There are some great resources for nutrition there, including some spreadsheets that really simplify the plans.

And, I don't like cottage cheese either. :D

So glad you came back. Pick up and go with it from right where you are! Simply refuse to quit, no matter what! Good luck in all you do!

I'm finding out, that it's hard to start something up this time of year...between kids' christmas concerts, dinner with family as they visit for the holidays...and the holiday parties...it's been inconsistent work.

I'm doing things when I can, which hasn't been more than 2 or 3 times a week...I'm looking forward to January when things quiet down and I get actually do what I need to do.
