hey everyone,
new to this forum and the p90x program. i'm trying to put together a meal plan for myself so i can do weekly grocery shopping. being a college student, i'd like to prepare my meals ahead when i have the time to do so, rather than scramble to put things together in the middle of my busy week.
any recipes or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
peace,
freddy

Do you have the P90X meal planner that came with your P90X program?

my sister gave me the exercise videos, but she had misplaced the meal planner.. i've found some good suggestions through some blogs, though, so i think i will be ok.
i've just completed the the first exercise video and boy did i struggle. i'm looking forward to the rest of the program, but i'm also dreading it.
gotta keep chuggin' along.

Don't dread it, look forward to it, because if you push hard, the results will be amazing.
Look forward to the challenge and conquer it.
Good Luck with Day 2,

You can get the portion approach here on this sight. Did you find it?
I like to make spaghetti meat sauce in advance, grilled chicken (to add to stuff) and hard boiled eggs. The rest I can cook on the fly.
Oh yeah cans of tuna in water make some great grab and go foods.
Let me know if you need the link to the nutrition plan pages.

That's the spirit Freddy, if you go at it with that attitude you'll have even better results than if you go at this with a lackidaisical attitude. Keep fired up and bust those workouts to pieces.

One tip that I found with the workouts that I particularly struggle with (plyo, yoga, legs & back, ab ripper x) is to tell myself I only have to do the video X number of times throughout the program. So, for plyo, I only have to do that video 10 times total. After the first week, I have to do it 9 more times. During that, I also tell myself that I will work on conquering one specific tough move each week. The first week, I work on getting through the video. The second week, I work on whatever move I could almost complete in week one and conquer it in week two. Then the third week, fifth week, etc. It's working so far.
One day in the near future, Mary Katherine will become my b*tch. LOL!
