Hi,

I got my P 90X months ago, made it through Phase I then let life take over and I QUIT.(I know, I promised you it wouldn't, Dave, but it did). I have been an occasional lurker ever since.

But now I am getting ready to start 1/4/2010. I am preparing everything better this time so I am less likely to fail. I am making sure everything is ready to go, my meals are planned out, and I can work the plan. I had it figured out the first time but I was totally unrealistic on being able to work the schedule I had set. I have revisted what didn't work for me and am making preparations to go solid when I start.

I am starting with P90X Lean due to some joint issues, I want to make sure I do not get injured. I am planning on doing P90X Lean then evaluating whether or not to move on to P90X after that. It will mostly depend on my knees.

I cannot make any promises to post daily (that was a mistake I made on the beach body site in the beginning) as this will take all the time I have just to maintain the program. BUT I know that part of this is being accountable somehow, so I will try to post at my phase change weigh ins and keep myself accountable that way.

I am going to go around now and search for a group planning to start the first week of January. It may help me to try to stay in with that!

Amy,

Glad to see you here and glad you are back in the game. As nearly everyone on this board can tell you, the journey has ups and downs. The important part is how you respond and react to those setbacks. Far too many people over promise (themselves) and under deliver. As a result they just give up. I'm so glad to see that's not YOU. Instead, you are learning what didn't work and making an effort to change that so you'll succeed!

We'll be here to support you in that quest. Most people are posting on the P90X Holiday Challenge thread, so hop on over there if you have not already.

Dave
