Hey Krista I'll call you one night this week. Do you have a particular night that's better than another? Let me know.
Smiley - Actually Jan 8th is a perfect day, because my running club is doing a relay race from Miami to Key West that Friday and Saturday. So we'll have to advertise it at the race somehow. Party in Key West Jan 7, 8, 9 to anyone else that wants to join in the fun. It'll be a Doozie.
Yep it's hot and humid down here, but the mileage is coming together. Did 10 miles on Saturday and 14 on Sunday, along with some great workouts and some beach volleyball too of course.
    Have a super day,
    Mike

Mike- uhhh, maybe I should just call you? I think I might be available between 9-10 any night. Or between 6-7. I'm probably going to be at the gym most nights between those times.

Oh yeah. Some good news/bad news for ya.
I was selected in the lottery draw to run in the JFK 50 Mile running race in Northern MD in Nov.
The bad news part of that is that I now can't run in the S to the A race with everyone. I was looking forward to meeting some of you. So a 26.2 mile race in Utah in Oct, a 50 mile trail run in MD in Nov and a relay from Miami to Key West (185 miles) in Jan. So my fall/winter race season is set.
Have a great night of workouts,
    Mike

    Howdy.

    Crickets....

I bet Smiley, Demaaaaak, and SuperMike are lonesome in here!

Well cool beans, the Magna-Workout is set for my birthday! Party on.

Got moved in last Monday, finally. And then... had to return to work Tuesday! It was like a rest, actually. Felt good to make money instead of spend it. This moving crap is for the birds. BUT - in this new house we leased, I have a space INSIDE devoted to workouts! The treadmill fits and everything! I had the DISH guy activate the connection, all ready for a TV and DVD player! Woohoo! Now, as soon as I get all the stuff outta there, I'll start using it...

Started the running schedule for the S to the A race this Monday. Just building a little base, running a few miles 3 times a week for a couple of weeks. LV started too! Smiley - are you on any kind of running program? Let's get this party started!!!! Who else is coming?

Intended to start TurboFire again, but I'm just not motivated to do anything like that right now. Not sure why. Could be the bazillion things going on right now. Wah. Nutrition is still borderline, but I've tightened it up a little in the last week.

I miss everyone! Come back Shane!

    Laters. Miki

Well boo-hiss, in regards to not getting to meet you, BUD. Yay, in regards to your getting in the MD race. Good luck with that wicked schedule!

What is the S to the A Race? Is it a race for drunk people?

Things are going great here, still. I've been reeeeally tracking what goes in my mouth. Well, I'm not talking about my digestive process, but calories and nutrition and stuff. I am losing weight steadily and will be reaching a landmark (you know, the even numbers that end in 0) by the end of the week, I think!! If not sooner! Well, ok, fine. I'll just tell you. I'm 5"8' and this morning weighed 190.8, so hopefully by the end of the week I'll be under 190. Most of it is in my hips, too. But anyway, I've been really leaning out, too. Loving that. Feeling good, too!

Last night I worked out for an hour at the gym and tonight I'm doing Legs & back. And probably mowing the lawn, too. (My pushmower is heavy and it is hot out, so you can bet I'll probably be sweating like a workout.)

Anyway, good to see you again MIKI! Glad things are moving along for you and you can see Annie every day now!
Mike- I'll try and call soon.
    Have a good day everyone!

    Let's get that party started!

MacDaddy - WAYYYY to go!!! Yes the 0 at the end of any number always makes for a good day!!! I'm currently .5 away from a whole number and I feel ya girl! Only this week I've been up in Ottawa so as much as my food has been SOOOOO much better than past trips & travel - it's nothing like it was when I was at home... so needless to say I can't wait to go home tomorrow and eat clean!!

Mik - way to go on the move!!! and setting up the workout area! So cool! and yes, i'm also trying to run 3 times a week... longer on weekends.. i'm up to 4 - 5 miles - but i need to do a solid 5 outside this weekend!

Ok well keeping this short - it's midnight here east coast time... and i have a 7am flight! :-)

Oh and yes D - it's the San Antonio Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon on Nov 14th - look for it online and sign up!!!! It's looking like it'll be a girl's rock party, oh with Bartly as the token manfriend of course!! :-)

Intrigued. Just signed up for the Thunder Road 1/2 Marathon in Charlotte in December. Not sure if doing another one so close is a smart idea. Thoughts?
