“Yoga is Silly and I Don’t Need it.”

Sure you don’t. We are now creeping up on 2 years since I really started to invest in yoga. The returns on that investment have been substantial.  You can read about that and see a hilarious interview with Tony Horton here: http://www.thefitclubnetwork.com/2009/03/why-yoga-2/.
Tony was recently interviewed by a program called “Posers”, which is a yoga based… [Continue Reading]

WOW, what a weekend.  I am on overload and complete exhaustion at the same time.  I’ve been really lucky in my life.  I have an incredible wife…duh.  Way back in 2003 Monica made friends with Tony Horton.  To be honest I thought the whole thing was silly at the time. But then life really is… [Continue Reading]

The GO Campaign – Get on Board

We don’t typically solicit for donations to charitable causes, but in this case the cause is worthy and the people are good.  Those of you P90X’ers out there know who Scott Fifer is.  Scott is a great guy and a sponsor of the GO Campaign (info at http://www.gocampaign.org/).  GO Campaign is dedicated to helping orphans and… [Continue Reading]

8 Weeks to a Faster 5k

My friend, fellow triathlete and virtual training partner Ryan Chapman put together a plan to increase strength and speed using a combination of runs and P90X workouts.  Ryan formulated this plan after noticing a big decrease in his 5k time after doing a round of P90X.  This has been a pretty common experience for people using P90X… [Continue Reading]
