So You Think Yoga is Easy? Try P90X Yoga X
If you’re doing one of the P90X workouts, you know what I mean. P90X Yoga X is hard…really hard.
In fact, I believe most people skip it, not because it is 90 minutes, but because it’s so challenging. Pushing your body to its limits has benefits – and, the benefits of yoga are too many to list here. If you don’t believe me, check out our interview with Tony Horton on the importance of yoga. If anyone knows a thing or two about a thing or two on this topic, it’s Tony.
Here’s one sequence from Yoga X that’s a killer—the right angle pose. This move is great for detoxing and, from a workout perspective, strengthens the legs, knees and ankles, stretches the groin area, waist, spine, chest, and shoulders. It’s also an excellent way to deliver pain to your quads. I would agree on the “increases your stamina” claim as well.
Yoga X is like a warm blanket for your soul. I feel so much better after doing this workout. Today I was really beat up. I’ve been going hard lately, and we are starting Insanity on August 1st. I need some recovery and, yoga is exactly what the doctor ordered!
