My 3 Top Beachbody Coaching Tips

I was recently interviewed by Beachbody for the “How Beachbody Changed My Life” series that they included in their e-newsletter. They asked me what coaching tips I could share with others. I wanted to share them here with you, too! If you’re a coach, they can serve you well—if you’re not a coach, it’s a peek into the simple process of being one.

I have three top Beachbody Coaching tips. As you can see, they are not rocket science. They are simple, but profound to your coaching business. Here they are:

  1. Invite, invite invite!
  2. Create your story
  3. Treat your business like a business

My Fundamental Beachbody Coaching Tips

Since my partner, Dave, and I started our coach team back in 2007, certain things have naturally evolved. For instance, how we meet people and, of course, which Beachbody programs we use. However, there are three fundamental ideas that haven’t wavered since the start. Practicing these key Beachbody coaching actions has led to my success and, ultimately, changed my life for the better.

Beachbody Coaching Tip #1—Invite, Invite, Invite

If you truly want to be successful, you must make it a priority to meet and invite 2-5 new people to begin a fitness program every single day and, at some point, have them consider becoming a coach. This is a manageable number to maintain balance in a part-time coaching business. Some people will say no, others will say “Not now,” and some will say “YES!.” Your business will grow in direct proportion to the number of people you prospect!

It’s important to learn what to say to people. With practice, you will find your voice and learn how to craft and personalize your invite. Remember, this is YOUR business so you can always adjust time in your schedule to increase activity. It’s easier to stay consistent with smaller goals than by gradually increasing your productivity over time.

Beachbody Coaching Tip #2—Create Your Story

The second of my Beachbody Coaching tips is to focus on living your own personal wellness story every day. This includes attention to daily nutrition, fitness, and having a positive outlook on life. Beachbody is a total lifestyle commitment. It starts with faithfully drinking Shakeology, pushing play to a sweat session on Beachbody on Demand, and sharing what you’re doing so people know they can come to you and follow in your footsteps.

Doing these things will drive your attitude and grow your self-confidence. If you aren’t living the lifestyle, you will struggle to authentically speak about Beachbody. Authenticity is everything—it builds real trust and can move people to take action.

Beachbody Coaching Tip #3—Treat Your Business Like a Business

Last, but certainly not least, remember the importance of treating your business like a business. The most effective way to do this is to schedule concrete work hours that fit into your balanced life. (Do you think you don’t have any time? Trust me, you do. Click on this link to get some helpful time management tips from Dave!) Also, make sure to track your activity so that the people you are inviting and coaching do not fall through the cracks. This will narrow your focus and make you a more efficient coach. As soon as your schedule includes the perfect balance between life and business, you will begin to see more and more success coming your way!

Dave and I have one of the largest Beachbody Coaching teams in the company and a solid training system.
