How Does the 21 Day Fix Work?

The 21 Day Fix is a structured portion control eating plan that’s designed to get you eating the right foods.

The color-coded food containers don’t give you any wiggle room and help you measure your daily intake of food, rather than counting calories. Each color represents a different food group. For example, red is for protein and green is for veggies. The nutrition guide helps you calculate your daily calorie count based on on your weight and this will determine how many servings of each container you get each day.

I am a busy mom of two kids who runs a thriving home-based Team Beachbody business so I need simple AND I need structure. Autumn’s system gives me both so that I can successful—and I know it can work for you, too!

Day 1 of the 21 Day Fix workout was both challenging and fun—here’s my review of this first day.

I am madly in love with this program! In my opinion, the 21 Day Fix  is one of the easiest Beachbody programs to follow.

It lasts only 21 days, which is a very reasonable time commitment, while also being long enough to help you form permanent new habits. Think of it like a launching pad for learning the skills that will keep you healthy for a lifetime.

The best part is no more counting calories (woo hoo)!!! The containers take the work—and guesswork—out of the nutritional portion of this program.

This is a perfect program for partners or spouses to do together. The workouts are challenging enough for both men and women. (If you’ve got a doubter of the male persuasion on your hands, have them read this article by Dave—21 Day Fix for Guys).

The portability of the food containers allows each person to prepare their meals together and take them on the go. Or, if one of you stays at home and does most of the cooking, then that person can prepare all the meals and easily pack them up.
