P90X Salad Recipes: Chicken Broccoli Salad

Clean. Simple. Healthy. Four easy steps is all that’s involved in one of the best AND easiest P90X salad recipes.

I definitely suggest lightly steaming the broccoli to increase its cholesterol-lowering benefits. Basically, the fiber binds together better with the acids in your digestive tract when the broccoli has been steamed. Raw broccoli still has cholesterol-lowering ability—just not as much.

A few other benefits of broccoli:

  • High in fiber
  • Anti-oxidant
  • Good source of Vitamins A and K
  • Fights allergies
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Prevents cancer
  • Supports digestion
  • Promotes eye health
  • Heals sun damaged skin

Need I say more? Broccoli is good stuff!
