Losing Weight on the Ultimate Reset
I wanted to give you some insights on our personal experience with losing weight on the Ultimate Reset Cleanse.
The Ultimate Reset Cleanse is not a weight loss cleanse—although it’s highly likely that you will lose weight. In short, it’s eating very healthy food for 21 days, drinking a lot of water and taking a variety of supplements to help alkalinize your body.
Why Do the Ultimate Reset?
The Ultimate Reset is a great challenge for those who strive to live a cleaner, healthier lifestyle.
We like to do it when we need a physical or emotional reboot. The discipline that’s required of us to do this cleanse, coupled with the tremendous benefits, really help get us back on track.

There are three one-week phases in the Ultimate Reset Cleanse:
- Phase 1: Reclaim—In the first phase, you get to your body’s inner chemistry and get it ready for some changes. During this week, you’ll be slowly removing certain foods—like red meat and dairy—from your diet.
- Phase 2: Release—In the second phase, you begin the detoxification process. It includes a gentle colon cleanse and digestive support and, by the end of the week, you’ll be eating a fully vegan diet.
- Phase 3: Restore—In the third phase, you start helping your body’s digestive system (and other processes) reach maximum efficiency with the help of extra nutrients, enzymes, and pre- and probiotics.
The Ultimate Reset Mindset
I think most of you would agree with me that having a positive mindset is crucial when making any serious commitment. Going into anything, thinking, “Oh, this is going to be TOUGH…or horrible…or painful,” is simply not conducive to success. By getting in the right mindset, your chances of losing weight on the Ultimate Reset Cleanse increase dramitacally.
The cleanse instructions are simple and clearly communicated—pretty much eat this at that time and take this supplement at that time. If your diet is already 90% clean and you don’t drink alcohol and consume caffeine or sugar, then it’s going to be pretty easy for you. If, on the other hand, you regularly have alcohol, caffeine or sugar, then you might struggle a bit and it will be especially key to get in the proper mindset from the start.
During one of my first rounds of the Ultimate Reset, I was enrolled in a personal development program by Tony Robbins. One of the things he said really struck a chord with me and I think it will with you too. He talked about two controlling forces in our lives—a desire to avoid pain and a desire to gain pleasure. He explained how most of us have the natural inclination to do more to avoid pain than to gain pleasure.
I recommend the mindset you have when you commit to the Ultimate Reset include the following:
- An authentic and enthusiastic goal to lead a healthier life
- An unwavering commitment to conquer the control that caffeine, sugar, and alcohol have over you
- A solid belief in your inner strength and a vision of you coming out stronger at the other end of this challenge

Weight Loss on the Ultimate Reset
Will you be losing weight on the Ultimate Reset? While, of course, I can’t guarantee it, the odds are extremely high for most people.
Monica has had great success with losing weight on the Ultimate Reset. Not only has she lost a lot of weight in each 21 day round, she also feels much healthier and energized, especially in the mornings (without the crutch of coffee!), after each round.
Monica’s mother joined us on one of the rounds. Being in her sixties, it gave us some interesting insights from a different perspective. One of the things people have noticed about her lately is that all puffiness from her face has more or less disappeared. Definitely great news! It was also really fulfilling to hear her say, “This isn’t a diet. It’s a lifestyle.”
The first time I did the Ultimate Reset, I lost 6.5 pounds—from 166.7 to 160.3. I lost it in Week 2 and stayed there until the end. While this isn’t earth shattering, when combined with all the other changes, I accomplished exactly what I set out to do.
I learned a ton about myself. It was enlightening to learn that I don’t need certain things as much as I thought I did. It was awesome to see that I can change and learn. A big part of this program is building new healthy habits that last. I found new joy in familiar things and became more reflective. More in the present.
