Losing Weight on the Ultimate Reset

It has been 11 days since our Ultimate Reset Cleanse program kicked off and we are here to give you some insights in what we’ve been through in these last few days. We are thrilled to be losing weight on the Ultimate Reset!

We entered Phase 2 of the program and are on a pretty much vegan diet at this point. The transition to no-protein was quite difficult…we both felt hungrier at times. Luckily, Monica managed to get some excellent food from our local farmer’s market. She’s found a variety of amazing produce at the market, some of which are on our menu for the first time. Like beets (for a beet salad) and Swiss chard.

For Monica, this diet has been a big success so far. She’s lost a lot of weight in a short period of time and she feels much healthier and surprisingly energized, especially in the mornings. She doesn’t even need coffee to be able to properly function, which is a huge improvement!

Monica’s mother has also joined us in doing the program. Being in her sixties, it gave us some interesting insights from a different perspective. One of the things people have noticed about her lately is that all puffiness from her face has more or less disappeared. Definitely great news!

Phase 2 of the Reset is all about detoxification. The supplements for this week are much different than those taken in the previous phase. These are supposed to be taken only in this Phase 2 week. I must say it’s different than any other supplement I’ve tasted, which have all tasted more or less the same. Be prepared for an odd mixture of tastes with this one. Let’s say, it reminds me of wheatgrass.

I feel great. My energy level is pretty high and I am very enthusiastic about introducing all these new veggies and fruits into my diet.

Being on this vegan diet is getting easier as the days go by. The fresh fruits and vegetables look and smell awesome. Still, I do get a bit hungrier from time to time, especially when I’m more active. But, my body is learning to adjust to that. Today, I feel quite satisfied and not at all in a rush to start with preparing dinner.
