Beachbody Super Trainer Joel Freeman is a fitness force.

Although he’s one of Beachbody’s newer trainers, he’s not new to fitness. He has 15+ years under his belt and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Master Fitness Presenter.

Joel Freeman is also the creator/co-creator of two popular Beachbody programs—LIIFT4 and Core De Force.

Joel is passionate about helping people live a healthy lifestyle in a way that considers the demands of real life. He has always been motivated to show people that it doesn’t have to be difficult to make necessary changes.

His passion as infectious. Back in Joel’s days of teaching at a Washington gym, his group fitness classes had some of the highest number of participants in the entire country!

He also helped create a corporate wellness program at the Washington State Department of Health.

Joel’s relationship with Beachbody began in 2005 when he became a member of the team that created Les Mills Pump program.

In 2012, Joel moved to Southern California to become the Group Exercise Director for the prestigious Gold’s Gym SoCal franchise. Under his direction, the group was transformed by new programming, top level instructors, and ground breaking analytics and tracking.

Core de Force

Joel Freeman and Jericho McMatthews launched Beachbody’s Core De Force, a mixed martial-arts (MMA) home fitness program, in 2017.

Core De Force combines MMA with high-intensity cardio and resistance training. The combination of boxing, kick boxing, and muay tai combos, body-weight moves, and cardio is designed to burn calories, blast fat and sculpt your body.

After Core De Force, Joel created Beachbody’s LIIFT4, an eight week program/four-day per week weight lifting and HIIT home workout program.

Joel coaches you through classic weight lifting techniques in a way that feels like a personal training session.

The routines are not complicated, the three recovery days are mentally and physically glorious, and you’ll get awesome results if you’re consistent.

10 Rounds

We’re super excited about Joel’s latest project—a high-intensity boxing program called 10 Rounds that will be released this spring.

This exciting program is designed to deliver a “lean & mean” full-body transformation with a combo of punching combinations and intense weight training. It’s a six week program with five 30-40 minute workouts a week (3 days of boxing and 2 days of weight lifting).

Here are key dates for 10 Rounds:

  • Coach Only Access: March 16—April 5
  • VIP Early Access and Customer Launch: April 6
  • Available to all BOD members—October 1
